Description

Are you a good "googler"? Translators and other language professionals need to have quick fingers and know how to find the term or expression they are looking for online without wasting any time.

In this workshop, learn how to hone your google-fu and find the terms you need quickly and efficiently using the world's biggest language corpus: the World Wide Web.

This hands-on workshop will help you use the right keywords and boolean operators to quickly find a term or expression. We will also discuss how to get the most out of other online translation tools like concordancers, terminology databases and dictionaries and glossaries.
