Terminology Bulletin 286
By Vincent Halde. The Access to Information Glossary, the first in a series of fascicles on information management, contains about 300 concepts obtained through the scanning of more than 80 documents. The scanned documents include the annual reports of the Office of the Information Commissioner (OIC) and the implementation reports of the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat. The terms and phraseologisms that pertain to the enforcement of the Access to Information Act are listed in this glossary. The Access to Information Glossary is a convenient tool for anyone working in the access field. It is intended for access-to-information coordinators as well as translators and writers. It will help maintain linguistic consistency in the OIC and in federal institutions subject to the Access to Information Act.
