Reform of the linguistic services procurement process

The Translation Bureau is undertaking a large-scale transformation initiative designed to modernize the Bureau and put it on solid footing for the future. One of the pillars of this transformation, which affects all of the Bureau's business lines, is the reform of the linguistic services procurement process.

The purpose of this reform is to

  • streamline the procurement process;
  • improve planning and predictability in linguistic services procurement; and
  • make the contracting procedures and the rules governing the operation of the supplier directory more efficient.
