For instances where a word can be used as several different parts of speech without changing its spelling, it may be useful to indicate the part of speech for each term. For example, many English terms have the same form as nouns and verbs ("match", "import"). You may wish to include part of speech for all terms on all records, but it may also be sufficient to indicate the part of speech only when there is a risk of confusion with another term that has the same spelling but that designates a different concept.
