This lesson deals with the initial and crucial activities associated with the research aspects of creating records, particularly in systematic terminology work, that is, delimiting and structuring the subject field.

Objectives

Upon completion of this lesson, you will be able to:

  • Delimit the subject field intended for terminological analysis using a classification system.
  • Identify and evaluate specialized documentation in a subject field.
  • Structure your field of research in diagram form.
