In this module, you will learn about some of the tools, computerized or not, that are used in the course of terminology work.
Some of the tools are used in the research stage of terminology work, while others are used in the recording and sharing (distribution) stages.
You will also learn about the position of terminology in the larger picture of the language industries.
Objectives
By the end of this module, you will be able to:
- Categorize the tools that are available for the different stages of terminology work.
- Consider which tools would be useful to you in your work.
