The terminology tutorial is organized in a hierarchical manner, similar to traditional course material, and is comprised of six modules. The tutorial title appears at the top of every page. You can jump from one module to another by clicking on them where they appear on the left side of the screen no matter where you are in the tutorial.
Lessons: Modules are comprised of multiple lessons, accessible from the table of contents page for each module. From within a lesson you can return to the table of contents for that module by clicking on the "Table of Contents" link. You may proceed in the suggested order, or choose a lesson based on your particular area of interest.
Topics: A lesson is comprised of multiple topics. The topics are listed in the table of contents for the entire module. When accessing a lesson, you are presented with the topics for that lesson. You can proceed sequentially by clicking the "Next page" link located to the right of the "Table of Contents" link above the tutorial content or non-sequentially by clicking on a topic name as listed below the lesson title.
Copyrights and Trademarks: Terms appearing in italic font designate a copyrighted work or trademark and are therefore the property of their respective copyright or trademark holders. Illustrations in this tutorial are reproduced with the permission of the copyright holder. Quoted text is followed by a reference to a source, all of which are listed in the tutorial bibliography. Reasonable efforts were made to contact the copyright holders for permission.
Glossary Terms: Terms appearing in underlined blue characters designate the basic concepts of terminology work. Clicking on these terms will bring you to the entry for that term in the Glossary. All such terms are defined in the Glossary that is accessible from the left side of each page.
